We had to put the Plessey and other projects on hold for a while. My Dad had a major medical event and we flew to Winston-Salem, N.C. yesterday. Will probably be up here for a couple of weeks while he recovers.

Hi Larry,

Bought a couple of the TS Controls T-12 units and one of the kids said they have been delivered to the house. We have one unit in the CH 4-way and reading all the settings, it should do the proper sequence for the Plessey light. Will know in a couple of weeks after we are back home.

The underside of all the visors should be black.

Hiya Folks,

Since I was hammering on things today, figured I would do something with the Plessey cabinet.
There were several big dings on the back sides.

Would figure the dings are located in between the openings for the lights making it more difficult to hammer out.

Took a while to get the worst hammered out and the cabinet aligned. Here they are now and I still need to feather with a wire wheel.

Plan to blast the end covers when we do the RR Crossing sign panels. Already have a sequencer for this unit which can cycle like mentioned by others with Green - Yellow - Red - Red & Yellow - Green. Hope to complete this light within the next couple of weeks.

Time is short for me at home.....

Have you considered blasting the body as well? I know it's already stripped, but IIRC most of the paint had already sloughed off so giving the base some texture might help give the paint some bite.

I have considered blasting the cabinet. Will see what it looks like after I use a steel wire wheel on it before primer painting.
