All the lights I know that are out there like this one have the Kopp 66 lenses in it. The reflectors are mounted to the doors. The bodies are bolted together with brass bolts.

Here's pics of one the day I got it.

I especially like the way the reflector housings are held in with the four thumb/spring catches.

Hey Jay, the Back in Black thread reminded me that this is actually a SECOND generation flat top... There is an older generation that has doors sitting in the body seam similar to the last gen flat top and the Model 1058, but with the reflectors mounted on the doors. This is the design where Marbelite simply changed the logo on back and nothing else.

I don't have a picture of a single-face, but it would have doors like the ones on this Horni 4-way. I have seen a few Marb flat tops with these doors:

Maybe once we document it, we'll have to call it Generation 0. :)

Anyone have one of these...

...that they want to give to me?

Yep, this is second generation, and the pic in my previous thread shows a Horni that was exactly mimicked in the first gen Marb - both in fixed-face and adjustable heads.

Ive never seen a Marb version with those doors with the reflector mounted on it. The single face I have just says Marb on the back.

OK, I have never seen one in person, but I've seena few pics of them.

THIS strange signal has a first gen housing in the amber section, though it has been modified to replace the door-mounted reflector with a newer style.

...and here's one in service, though we can't tell if it has a Horni or a Marbelite logo:
