Hello from southern California

Postby DesertWolf735 on Tue Nov 13, 2012 1:50 pm

My name is Rafael, im 20 and live in California, i recently bought a 3M PV signal from a seller down here, his name is Steve and some of you guy probably know him, well my 3M is my second signal, my fist is an 8in TCT, it sits in my room and lights it up every once and a while!

I chose then to get a 3M because the look plain out awesome! Steve delivered it a few days ago, since then i have taken it apart and cleaned it up and sanded it ready for paint! i just posted a forum about this.

other than that, my main hobby is collection military items, i used to be in AFJROTC, and plan on going into the Air Force, so this is what got me started on that, in my collection i have US items, Russian, German, Iraqi, ranging from uniforms, ranks, hats, boots, etc!

I one day decided to search Traffic light on ebay and was surprised on the selection and this is where i bought my first one!

I live in Southern California, for now i work at a grocery store in the meat dept. im new on here and still new to the traffic signals, but will get one every once in a while My 3M will always be my favorite!

Other than that i look forward to meeting some new people and getting some help in my 3M!

Welcome Rafael, nice to greet new members from my side of the country. Long ago in my USAF days, the Iranian military trained in the same classrooms as me for microwave radio.

Yes, I know Steve........ :glare:
Well what do you know. If I put my name here, I do not have to sign it everytime.

Hey Joe,

When were you in microwave? I did many of my 20 AF years in that job!
I'm so old I remember when the word "mother" only had one meaning!!!

Hey Rafael, I have collected a few military items along with signals.....what do you have???

I had parts of a 4 meter German Zeiss rangefinder.....shipped down under to an optics collector....now that was high priced shipping! I generally wear my German belt buckle ala E. Hemingway!!!
