Doubt it tbh, it's a backwards step...

Think of how long it's taken and the technology that goes into CLS optics because they look more conventional, are brighter and more evenly disparced and are alot more reliable. How would you keep a CLS optic in a flat housing without using some form of LCD screen or such like?

Monitron were trying to market thier new light, which has to be thinner than those Japanese ones, however it's optics weren't great, and the polycarbonate body looked like it would just snap at the hinges in the wind...

Some great pics in this thread!

Love the 3Ms.

The brackets the 3Ms are mounted with look like the old universal radio adapters Sears use to supply in their installation kits

That one-way underpass looks like a roller coaster ride.

Do you think an American market Accord would fit through there?

Really love looking at different sigs from around the globe.

Some cool points...

The 3M adapter in one of the sigs...

Their masking of their signals with either the old style louvers, or some kind of screened mesh.

The adjustable 4-way was one of my favorites.

Their versions of a 12 inch and 8 inch signal.

That one signal that had the slightly bigger red globe than the green and yellow. Kinda reminds me of a 12-8-8 config.

And their animations of what the sequences were also cool.

I refused the language package and just clicked on the different links and the pics came right up!

One thing that I did notice was the zoomed in, blown up pics of the name plates on the backs of the signals.

it was a lot of @^$&@*%)#*%)#$)%__^* stuff, but one thing that stood out was AC100V @ 50/60Hz... so I am assuming that if one could accuire such a signal and get it to the US, that it would run on 110VAC.

If you plugged 110v into 100v appliance, would it not spell desaster? :?

Having said that, we have 240 kit runs off 230 which comes through the plugs. It's the opposite to plugging to much in though ;)

What's wrong with a D-bracked and midway-vertical joist... Gosh  ;)

I do like the circle and hang the lanterns idea though, It'd look very good in a new regenerated area, especially with quater circles for single lights, and so on (just because I think the full cirlce may be a little over the top for single lights)...
