Hello from N.E. Ohio

Postby gd9704 on Mon Nov 12, 2012 9:15 pm

Hello all...my name is Greg and I live in a suburb of Cleveland. Have been fascinated by traffic lights since I was a kid and finally decided to buy one locally. Here is a picture of my work in progress....waiting on a replacement green lens and sequencer....I think it will make an awesome night light for my 7 year old!

We have another Greg. Welcome to the forums.

You have a nice traffic signal. I'm sure your collection will grow from this point. :-)

Welcome Greg, which suburb do you live in? I'm in Parma, so it's nice to have a fellow collector in the area.
And that is a good looking signal,

2070 has a sharp eye....yes, a bit of a frankensignal....

I'm in Willoughby Hills and looking forward to getting something a little more scarce/interesting for my garage.

Nice to be here!

HI Greg!! :hello: That's a fine looking light -- you've got a lucky 7yr old, whether he realizes it or not?!

Can't wait to see whatever your next "acquisitions" will be...you've found the right place, all sorts of wonderful temptations pop up around here, rather regularly!! (as Phil has already pointed out)

Welcome to the bunch!!

Welcome to the board. :hello: :hello:

Nice pick up! I have three 12-8-8 combos in my collection. Lately, I have seen alot of 12-8-8 combos for sale online mostly from the Cleveland area. I picked up a CH type R from Mentor, Ohio back in September.
