As you can see in the pics it had a Dialight LED insert and all of the internals were missing. The visor was a 12" Eagle and the down light sockets were rotted and mounted in the wrong locations. I blasted the entire signal after disassembly and filled all unneeded holes in the down light with JB weld. I also sourced out a couple of replacement ceramic sockets for the down light, and the needed Singer visor, original red Singer poly lens, and the reflector assembly to bring this signal back to its original configuration.

Once everything was sanded smooth and cleaned off the painting began. I had a couple of rattle cans of custom mixed paint from Sherwin Williams that I had for about a year so I decided to go with that since they cost quite a bit to have done. Needless to say two cans was no where near enough paint so I had to head back to SW to pick up some more. This time I decided to buy a quart of the same color and just use my HVLP guns to do the painting as this would save me time and money. The paint I received was this.

I must say this stuff went on very easy and had a nice smooth finish to it, but it took several coats to cover. I also learned that it never really dries completely even though it feels completely dry. I think the paint stays rather soft and it is intended to have a clear coat put on it afterwards to produce a finished paint job. I'm not about to deal with clear coat so it's just gonna stay as is.
A pic of the parts with a coat on them already.

And here is the finished product mounted on a stand. It came out great and I am very happy with this as my second restore ever. Once again lessons were learned during painting and I hope I can continue to improve my skills as I move on to the next signal restore.
