Hi all,
I am new to the site, and kinda new to the traffic section. Thought it might be a good idea to join this site I stumbled upon, as I am sure there is a ton to be learned here. I live in New Brunswick, Canada and work for the "City of Moncton"

Welcome, I maintain signals for the city of Tacoma. Are you a maintainer as well?

Thanks for the welcome,
Yes, I am a maintaner, as well as an installer. We have only 76 intersections, so there are 2 guys that take care of it all. With so few intersections we really get to see it all, and never really get good at anythink (lol)

Welcome, Beam. I'm sure we're all waiting with bated breath to find out what kind of controllers Moncton has. Chuck.

Can you tell us a bit about what you guys use as in signals and controllers?

Welcome, from the land of cheesesteaks! I've never been to New Brunswick sadly, but I do plan to eventually make it up there in the next several years, whether it be an extended trip from my annual trek up to Maine, or a separate trip all together.

Yes, we are quite up to date I think. We have installed three ASC3 Econolite Controllers, with the battery backup system. We also have some Reno 1600D MMU's.
We having lots of issues with a new Ped system called SoundSafe (for the visually impared). Has any one heard of this system, and what are your thoughts?
