Nice restoration - you did a great job on getting the black & white scheme just right.

Thanks!

I think the hardest part was getting the inside of the Amber section visor black without it dripping onto the white. A lot of patients and a smaller brush around the edges helped with that, as I hand painted the inside.

I was going to paint that visor all white, but a few photos were telling me to paint the inside black, so I did. That's not to say they were all black on the inside, though!

I like the black inside the visor - gives it a good look when the light comes on for viewing purposes anyways. It's been a while since I painted mine but I think I debated about whether to do mine black inside as well - which I did. I'm thinking I saw an old pic (maybe one you sent me a long time ago?) of double mounted Plesseys and believe the visors were black inside but can't be certain.

Do you have it sequencing just like they do over there? I had Lights To Go (www.trafficlights.com) do me a customized sequencer, with both the red and yellow lighting up before changing to green. He does a good job.

Hi Simon
I love the plessey lanterns very hard to get.

suggestion spray the plessey head white first then cover the center then do the parts that are supposed to be black.
