The board was down for maintenance/upgrade today from 10:30am to 11:30am. Although it should be relatively transparent to most everyone, the board software was upgraded from phpBB3RC2 to phpBB3RC3.

As they say, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". Apparently very true, but at least I'll make sure the water is nice, clean and as palatable as possible.

The board was down for maintenance/upgrade today from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. Although it should be relatively transparent to most everyone, the board software was upgraded from phpBB3RC4 to phpBB3RC5.

There was an update from phpBB3RC3 to phpbb3RC4 (sometime in early August), but I forgot to post a note about it. My apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused for those of you playing along at home.

The board was down for maintenance/upgrade today from 12:15am to 12:35am. Although it should be relatively transparent to most everyone, the board software was upgraded from phpBB3RC5 to phpBB3RC7.

Although one of the updates addressed the manor in which user avatars are cached, the avatar issue continues.

The board was down for maintenance/upgrade today from 1:15pm to 1:30pm. Although it should be relatively transparent to most everyone, the board software was upgraded from phpBB3RC8 to the non-beta, stable release, 3.0.

We've been using the beta version up to now but it has been incredibly stable and bug free. So I am very happy to finally be in the final release version as now the floodgates for modifications and plug-ins will open up wide and we'll have a whole slew of options to fine tune and tailor the user experience here.

Still no update on the avatar issue though.

Two quick things:
- The avatar issue has been resolved
- Attachments of images and PDFs to messages are now allowed. Only restrictions are that the attachments can't be larger than 2MB
