Updating this thread...

They've dropped the new FYA signals and took out all the flashing reds left turns along this stretch of 23 Mile. Detection and other stuff is now active and the EF cabinet is gone. It was definitely used a splice box because a generic NEMA-spec splice box was installed in the same location on the pole. Not sure why its needed because it has its own controller now...maybe for power?

The 340 ITS cabinet appears to be active now running this intersection
