Never saw the commercial, since one does not exist in my area of New Jersey. I think there are a couple in the north, though.

Strap a 12" RYG CH Art Deco around his neck and have him dance, THEN I will be impressed.

I dunno about pets (as Roxy kitty most definitely prefers NOT to travel...!
) but I can testify that LaQuinta's are SIGNAL FRIENDLY!! 
Or at least in Raleigh, NC anyways...I was staying in a LaQuinta there when I made both my 'signal hauls' from Cameron awhile back. In both cases, several signals made their way into the room for a few days (neatly out of the way laying on packing blankets) and there wasn't the slightest reaction (that I know of, anyway...
) from the housekeepers/etc... 
Of course, I didn't leave any of them plugged in/lit up while I wasn't in the room with 'em...  |
