CH AD harnesses: the only way to go...

Postby francisrizzo on Sat Mar 13, 2010 4:33 pm

Allow me to chime in from the peanut gallery and add another vote to all of the signal pros wiring harness critiques. I just got back my CH AD wiring harness from Gordon,

 HOLY SHNIKEYS IS THIS WIRING HARNESS SWEEEEET!!! :good:

Seriously, if you're not employed by a museum that requires 100% authenticity, don't mess around with that crispy cloth covered wiring and mail your CH AD sockets straight to Gordon. Seeing this harness in person makes me want to go find a CH AD 4-way just to have another harness made, it's that good!

Mad, crazy, whack, dope props (that's slang for Many Thanks!) to Gordon for his excellent work... :hello:

I just break the lip off the newer style of McCain sockets.

Nice new wire and new sockets.
Well what do you know. If I put my name here, I do not have to sign it everytime.

Thanks guys for all the good reviews! I really appreciate every one of them. And as I said before, these harness and wiring jobs have sure helped me keep my sanity during the time I've been off work.

I'm hoping that the doc will let me go back to work soon, though since the disability payments aren't as much as my regular pay. Not only that, but if I'm off too long they might find out that they can get along just fine without me.

Thanks again!

It's not a very good picture, but here's one without the sockets and terminals attached:

This one is for a CH AD, but I can configure them for pretty much any signal.
