OT, this place is a rental, I'm not going to bother painting their garage for them!

But they're OK with all the holes you're putting everywhere? :nono:

Nice setup Dan.
I like the fact your display is closer to the ground. Makes it a lot easier to show off and work on that's for sure.

I can patch the holes, they'll never notice considering the drywall isn't primed/painted anyway!

More progress!

Got the Eagle EF-20 master up and running with its vehicle heads, later on in "phase 1.5" of this project I'll add peds to that controller as well, have to break out some cams first though. Pulled all the wire for all the signals that will be on the PCN-100. Once I get some parts from Jay I will be reconfiguring the PCN to run 4 phases. Now, some of you in the know may be wondering how I'm running 4 phases in a controller with only 11 circuits...well, phase "A" is part of a protected-permissive head (the 4 section type R on the far left), so it will only have a green and yellow output (yellow will be a blind clearance interval in this case). Phase "B" is main street through, "C" is side street lefts, and "D" is side street through. After I came up with that I realized it might not be conventional to have a left turn be "A", but I already set up the flash programming on the controller so I'm just going to stick with it. Since the PCN has 16 intervals, I'll be running it without red clearance so I can cram all 4 phases into 8 intervals. There was an intersection in my hometown that used to have all 12" type M signals, and in the middle was a gigantic 4 way cluster of 4 section type Ms, and the whole show was run by a PCN-100, so this is sort of my best approximation of that setup.

Later this weekend or next week I'll wire up the remaining signals, just have to get more spade lugs first!

Stay tuned for more fun, this will be an ongoing project for a while...I still have a two way cluster and a controller to set up, once I get it working!

Boy have I made some progress since I last posted!

"Phase 1" and "1.5" completed...EF-20 master and PCN-100 are fully up and running, interconnected, and my one complete ped signal is up.

Some choice pictures...

How it started:

How it is today:

Still have to get the two way cluster up (with help!), then get the SVA-110 controller hooked up to those, and eventually get it interconnected with the master. Plus there's still MORE signs to put up...

Also, some video. Boring explanations, but they get the point across!

Dan,

Cool setup. That said, your flash mode video is marked private.

I have a question,...how can two opposing directions have a green light at the same time?

The lights on each wall represent the same direction of traffic, just different intersections. So the progression on the wall with the controllers starts with the two signals on the right, then the two on the left are further "down the road". Likewise, on the other wall, the signal and ped on the left are the side street of the first intersection, and the left turn and through signal to the right are the side street of the second intersection.
