I-84 over Dingle Ridge Road Bridge Slide this Weekend.

NYS DOT will be closing westbound I-84 just west of the
Connecticut State Line this weekend as part of an Accelerated Bridge
Construction Demonstration Project where they will be demolishing the existing
bridge and “sliding” in a new bridge overnight on Saturday night.

Looks like it got moved into place an hour or so ago. WSDOT did the same when they replaced the temporary Skagit River Bridge on I-5. Slid the permanent section into place.

Geez, NYSDOT moves a lot quicker than WSDOT... Overpass would've been opened at 5 am this morning, if it had been WSDOT, not 1:30 pm yesterday.
