When I get home, I'll post a couple of photos of a bad pad. I had also gotten to a collection manuals from this forum but can't figure how I got to it. There was an Eagle folder with pdfs of the installation of them.

So that's what that bike-tire-popper was at the entrance to my section...

Well there was one down the street growing up. That explains how that worked. I knew it was signal related, I would have liked to have seen under them. As far as I remember, I think it was just paved over about 10 years ago. When it was actually stop being used I do not know.

Thanks Vaughn that's the path. The file was Eagle catalog F10. I also have the installation instructions I'll scan them and get them posted.

I've added some photos of a pressure that seen better days.

Here's a really sad pair at Riverside Drive (aka Eastern Avenue) and St. Andrews Street here in Cincinnati. Yes, St. Andrews is just as steep as it looks (see those stairs on the left?), you can see the pad about 3/4 of the way up the street.

Looking down St. Andrews towards Riverside you can sort of see the pad about half way down from the railroad tracks. There's another pad in the driveway across the street, but you can't really see it in this wide shot.

They have spies everywhere. I'll have to be careful what I post on this forum. Word is out that street maintenance has a workorder to remove 4 of the pressure pads at one of my intersections.

Joe, I'm not sure if you're kidding or not. You have to be a member to see anything posted here so unless someone else at your place has created an account here I don't see how they could have found out.

Ed, I was kidding about the spies but truthful about the workorders. I believe my comments around the shop shamed them into action. I count that as a good thing. So far my comments about being the last city in the world running EF controllers hasn't yet produced any results.
