NEMA Conflict monitor overlap programming cards

Postby jab8356 on Sat Dec 15, 2012 7:09 pm

Are they pretty much standard and interchangeable? I'm getting ready to take my plywood cabinet out of service and put in service the NEMA cabinet I got from Drew over Thanksgiving. I run two overlaps and I was thinking I would have to solder the correct connections on the new monitor's card, but then a light bulb went off and I decided to see if they were interchangeable. They are very close, but not exact, but both seem to seat correctly in either monitor.

NEMA defines the dimensions and circuits, the boards are interchangeable.

They should fit and operate the same, the monitor just would not use the channel outputs for 7-12.

EDIT: Joe beat me to it!
