My time home is now limited, so trying to complete some of our projects before shipping out in early November.
One part of the "monster" project is to place some cross street signs at the top of the post. We acquired these about a month ago.

Took the framing brackets apart, cleaned, prepped the metal, primed and painted. The photo shows two sets of street sign brackets.

Had to straighten the street signs before lightly sanding with 180 grit paper. Most of the 60's / 70's green paint is very intact and will paint over after treating with phosphoric acid covering any bare metal to neutralize any possibility of rust forming later on.

Our plan is to paint the signs white with black lettering giving that old hick town appearance of the 50's.
We have a couple of other signs that may get some much needed attention soon. Depends on time with everything else going on.
Cheers!
