Getting to final...

Postby coyttl on Wed Oct 09, 2013 10:49 am

Getting to a more final arrangement in my basement. Nick's Mark 4 and my NAI are now hanging from hooks (thanks to :Phil: for the hangers.. much needed), and the DuraSig with the strobe is hanging up between 'em:

And the two DuraSigs converted to 12-12-8's, for an MD fire station setup are now ready to be wired in. The image is slightly blurry, sorry. If you look closely, you can see the difference in DuraSig's finishes. (Mentioned this to the Falla-palooza folks.) Apparently, newer (the 8" in the image) DuraSigs are matte finish, as a couple years ago they were glossy (the 12" in the images).

Love the setup!!

The glossy/matte finishes on the DuraSig *may* have been a special order type decision

We just had several intersections get DuraSigs installed (after the original DuraSigs they have replaced were upgraded with the latest Dialight modules within the last month :Phil: )

The new ones are still have a glossy finish where I'm at

:P Your 3M looks like a GYG in the second picture. Great layout, I really like the fire department corner you have going on.

Interesting. The two 8" are ordered new frommy dist. They had to be shipped from Siemens. So if they ARE 'special order', mine were offloaded with someone else's "special order" run. Or else the glossy ones are special order. Those came from DC. :)
