Chris,

Here's one possible source for the rods-

I'm so old I remember when the word "mother" only had one meaning!!!

I've never owned one of these lights, but I think Rustoleum Dark Hunter Green would be a closer match than Rustoleum Hunter Green. Anyone know for sure which paint brand/color is the closest match to the original green on these lights? Also, what all colors did Autoflow 4 ways come in from the factory? It seems like all the original paint on the 4 ways I've seen are green and the single face signals were yellow.

There's something so satisfying to see the paint, crud and corrosion blasted away, revealing the smooth metal surface. This is going to be a treat to see when finished!

I got a warm sunny 1/2 day this week and decided to re-primer coat the AutoFlow. I lightly sanded everything and applied the final primer coat using a sandable filler primer. It works great for covering and filling in the tiny imperfections. Image

Sandable filler primer used..will lightly sand again before applying final paint.

I'm not suggesting anything...just showing what I used. :blind: :tease:
