New Home for the Archive!

Postby vaughnsimon on Sat Jul 14, 2012 11:41 am

Thanks to the hard work and generosity of Matt Cornely, notMUTCDcompliant, the Traffic Signal Document Archive now has a new home. It features easy navigation and quick downloads without irritating and confusing popups. Please bookmark the new url: http://signal-archive.d-domains.net/

We are not necessarily done indexing everything, and there may be a few misplaced or missing files. This thread would be a good place for you to alert us to that type of stuff.

In indexing the files into the new system, I’m gratified at the 4+ GB of material we have, but I’m also reminded of what we could use. If you have documents that are not yet in the archive and you own a scanner, will you consider making an addition to this shared resource? Soon we intend to provide a provision for quick and easy direct uploads to the archive.

As always, please remember that no food, drinks or tobacco chewing are allowed in our virtual library. :P

You may see some minor visual changes over the next few weeks to the new archive, but the functionality and back end customization have all been completed.

Looks great! :clapping:

Love how you're able to see a thumbnail of the doc and then preview the entire doc by double clicking.

For those who have things to upload....
Once your in the archive, select the drop down in the upper left of the screen that says "Archive", and change it to upload. Your screen on the right will go blank. Drag and drop any files you would like to share into the large white blank window.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR UPLOADS UNTIL SORTED AND APPROVED BY AN ADMIN! So don't worry if you can't see what you just did! Thanks!

Will there be a way to see new-uploads, or sort all files by date?

Yes, you can sort by date, within the folders
