Most of you here from the other board have already seen this

Postby wx8sky on Mon Mar 31, 2008 8:02 pm

Hi gang!

I made a trip to Rochester, NY this past Sunday and picked up my first 4-Way...woohoo!

Even though it may not be a "street legal" 4 way, in my book...it still counts ;-) Anywho, on with the pic!

Don, that's a real sharp signal you got there. Just because it hasn't been identified yet doesn't diminish it in any regard. Quite the opposite I'd say.

I think someone mentioned it already on MSN, but it looks like an upside down Mechanical Cop.

Congrats and good luck in finding its origins. Sometimes that's half the fun. ;)

How about some detail shots of the doors, latches, hinges and lens mounting? That's our best crack at it.

Let's see...

Reflectors just sit on the inside of the door, held in place by the door being shut. ONly thing I can find on the reflectors is a GE logo, but the sockets are held in place on the reflector by 2 screws fastened through from the front of the reflector.

I tried emailing the individual I got it from, to find out where he purchased it from...haven't gotten a response as of yet. Last thing he told me was he purchased it roughly a year or so ago from an antique shop.

I'll get some more pics as soon as my camera returns home (my daughter likes to snitch it to go and take outdoor photos ;) )
