Hiya Folks,
We drove through Canton, Mississippi on Tuesday, 2 July while visiting family in the area. While driving around the old town square where my father grew up I noticed two span-wire four-ways hanging at the intersection of West Center and North Union Streets. I do not know what kind of lights these are but thought I would share photos.
View from Union Street looking NNE.

Looking NE from Union Street.

View looking East down Center Street.

View from NW corner of intersection looking towards that courthouse.

Looking South on Union Street.

White building on right is old Post Office building on Union Street looking SSW.

Post Office building looking Westerly on Center Street.

The other three intersections for the courthouse square are modern lights on posts and masts.
I asked my aunt about these two 4-way signals and she said the city decided to keep them up after they filmed the movie "A time to Kill" in 1996.
Here is the Google Maps link for the town square. You will have to pan around to the right to see the signals on street view.
Cheers!
