ED-

I wanted to add my thanks to hosting this Forum. Over the last few years, I have picked up this hobby that I really enjoy. I love the industrial design aspect of it, the engineering and eletrical aspects of it and restoring old pieces of Americana. I have met some great people including Randy and Phil, who love to share there knowledge and passion for all things traffic light.

My collection is now up to 23 lights...not including the CH DT 4 way beacon that is in a few pieces across a few states....My next and greatest restore project yet!

Will try the new Highway Divides forum. Hope it is somewhat as well done as this has been. Thanks again Ed.

Thanks for the trail of breadcrumbs, ladies and gents. I'm going to try the new site as well. I'll still miss this place though.

I'm trying to join it and the process is totally f**ked up for me. I use one email address and then it sends a verification code to my Facebook email address - which I don't want to use. Either way, the code isn't accepted when I try to use it. Frustrating to the point that I don't want to bother anymore. Anyone else getting the run-around like that?

I will keep everything as-is until such time as a new forum can be started up and everyone moved over. But this must be done no later than the end of this year. After it's all done I will keep this forum up indefinitely as an archive of sorts.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed and to everyone who has worked to keep the doors open this long.

I'm sorry to hear this website is shutting down, but I'm glad you'll keep it online. I was wondering if this site will be on the Internet Archive/Wayback Machine. I believe this site will be permanently archived at this one. When this site's predesesser, Signalfan's Club, was archived on Multiply.com, there was no record kept of it when Multiply.com went out of business and a lot of neat information and things were lost to cyber space. If you already have something in place for this site, great. I'm only suggesting Internet Archive.
