Due to a long history of problems arising from active auctions or listings being posted in the forums, links and discussions of active auctions and/or ads in any form (including Ebay, CL, Gov Deals, local auctions, and any items for sale or trade outside of STF ) will be prohibited until after the item has been sold and no longer for sale. Exception Only being with large manufacturers or suppliers (as in companies like ACE hardware / interstate box stores), who sell in box quantity (abundance/bulk) i.e... nuts, bolts, paint, which have set pricing for everyone. (This exception is expressed simply as a facilitator in helping members with their restoration projects and in no way is it meant to circumvent any clause as outlined above.) Any member wishing to post a link to their own personal active listing may do so in the For Sale forum ONLY, and they must be the person who initiates the posting.
