When it just sorta happens....

Postby 3Mfanatic on Sat Sep 28, 2013 1:22 am

Today I swung by my local Peek/Leotek distributor to pick up some 8" Leotek IL6 modules for my Econolite short-groove. I was working a split shift so I had a ton of time to kill and after the guy got the modules for me from off the top rack, he let me wander around the warehouse, something that proved a dangerous precedent only moments later as he pointed out a box full of "old Eagle stuff". Finally I let my curiosity get the best of me and asked him to get the box down with the forklift. We dove into the boxes like two kids on Christmas and to make a long story short, ten minutes later we had pieced together a brand-new Eagle 12" all-arrow left turn signal. It's got Leotek incandescent-look arrows in the red and green and an incandescent yellow with a very fresh looking Kopp glass lens, something NOBODY makes anymore. When I asked him how much he wanted, I couldn't turn the offer down so I left with the IL6s and a brand new Eagle, still in the plastic.

If "Eagle" is the same quality as the Kennedy model, in about five years.
