Eaglelux pickup X3

Postby mnence1 on Fri Sep 20, 2013 3:17 pm

This is what I have collected over the past month and a half, all single face Eaglelux's in varying years. I have been searching for a long fin for a while now and then all of a sudden a cluster pops up and then another single face. Why not buy them all right!

This cluster came from Sugercreek Ohio, a CL find and Jay was nice enough to do the pick up for me since it was only about 15 minutes away from him. One signal is a long fin with a aluminum tag and the other is a hodge podge of short fin and long fin parts.

The long fin went into my main intersection display and the short fin was shortened to a two section wait/walk ped signal.

The third Eaglelux came from Ebay. It is a much earlier version with cast visor doors, brass tag, and the "patent applied for" tag also. It also came with about four layers of paint on it which means this will get stripped down to bare metal and restored. But otherwise it is in really good condition for how old it is and that will make restoring much much simpler.

What do those tags say?

Nothing a little paint stripper won't fix. Both tags are in darned good shape!
