New controller addition (?)

EM, NEMA, whatever - if it controls a traffic signal, you can talk about it here.

It said that this unit is going to a ITE type show near Seattle

I was up at the show and saw the controller. Tacoma may just be in the market. At the show they were playing "Angry Birds" on the controller. Everyone wanted on.

Did you see Tom Stiles up there? He's my contact at Intelight. VP of operations. Angry Birds...and just the ability to load Google android apps onto the controller is making me really want the thing!!

No word from Intelight as to whether or not they're up for a deal. Then again, Tom was at the show so he has probably been busy

No, I have a different contact. Mike Taylor. Used to work for Western Systems up here but wanted to stick closer to family in TX.

That's pretty slick.

I love that it can play Angry Birds, tell me it's probably Android based, which means you could probably make apps for it if that's the case.

Edit: Doh! Just read the manual, screen is Android based with Linux as a back end, oh man, that's a hackers dream right there, just imagine what you could make it do......... Awesome.

A few third party distributors are already making video games and other non-traffic related fun with it! It can stream video too!

Before ya know it a tech could play solitare or check facebook on their lunch from the cabinet :Wink2:

I don't understand why they would put games on a signal controller. Just because you can, doesn't always mean you should.
