Ped Button LEDs

Postby coyttl on Thu Feb 07, 2013 9:12 pm

Hey guys..
Recently was looking at Ped Buttons, and saw some that lad LEDs in the buttons. (These aren't Polara buttons..)
I'm assuming that the LEDs light up when there's a call.

How is the LED powered?

Nah, standard ones.

Reference, for example, Pelco's Peds. :)

Pelco's standard peds with LEDs latch using their latching circuit module that is installed in the cabinet.

Pelco makes the Passport push button that competes with the Polara Bulldog and Campbell 4EVR buttons. The two-tone chirp and quick LED blink uses power from the existing button wires, but holding the LED on until the walk comes on also requires extra hookup
