Howdy Partner!

I started collecting Traffic lights about 6 years ago. I started out with some Econolites and GE's that I bought at a state auction. Then the bug hit me and I changed my focus to the older stuff, mainly 4 ways. I have pretty much aquired evything that I want and am going to concentrate on getting a few working with electromechanical controllers. I joined this fine club quite a while back and this is my first post. I mainly "LURK" and read a lot of the posts to learn as much about these old signals as I can. The early stuff is fascinating to me. Thanks Ed T. for putting this together and thanks to John aka Signalfan, and all of the old signalfan club members that helped with information over the years.

Hey Charles,

It's good to hear from you! I hope that you can join us more often. I'm still kind of P.Oed at you for coming into my back yard, and taking that 4-way novalux from me!

Hey Charles! Good to see you posting here. :hello:

Now I know you're pretty new to all this and don't have a lot in your collection, but I'm sure there's bound to be something you can contribute... :P

Hey Easy and Ed,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Nice to know we have a home.

Sorry Easy for flying in under the radar, I was low to the ground!

Hey Ed, I am almost done restoring my vintage 12 inch poly. Just need some more pvc cement to repair the lenses and some abs cement to hold the doors shut. It will be better than new!

Good to hear from you. I didn't forget about the pictures I promised to send you. Things are getting back to normal and I will get those done soon. Don't tell Easy but I will be under the radar again on saturday in his back yard. OOPS!

Welcome back to poster-dom, Charles.

BTW: the long-groove Econolite that you sold to me back in '05 is in my avatar. Still needs to be painted the original olive-green, but is wired up and equipped with red/green LED's.

Charles! It's good to hear from you my freind. I was actualy just thinking about you and the great help you were gettting that 4way marb to me. I might take a trip out AZ to see relatives later this year. I hope I can pay you a visit if I get out there. Glad to see you make the jump.

...you'll fit in just fine with Ed's assylum......

I think we were all just a little crazy before we got here and it's still the same assylum it was at MSN! Ed's just brought some different cheese and crackers
Moderately inspirational message.
