New Sign guy

Hello
I own a traffic sign manufacturing company in WPB, Florida.
This site seemed interesting so I joined.
I have been in the sign business for 11 years.
I would be more than happy to answer any traffic sign related question.
My knowledge is mainly of newer MUTCD specs, it seems most of you on the site are interested in old signage.

Hello there. Welcome to the forums. It's nice to meet you.

I'm mainly interested in the street signs of yesteryear from New York City, since I originally grew up there.
Although I am also interested in general street signs of present day.

Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind me asking, do you also manufacture sign blanks? I'm lookin' for one that will serve as an actual backpanel for one of my Marbelite E/M signal controllers. Maybe you're right the guy to ask. Let me know.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I only have one sign at the moment...a Traffic Signal Ahead sign with the signal image. Always interested in any sign that is traffic signal related.
A cop pulled me over and said, "Papers..." So I replied, "Scissors! I win!" and drove off.

Also (and I apologize if this further hijacks the thread), even though I love older signs more, I do still enjoy some of the newer signs that come about. For example; I really like the new MUTCD approved school bus stop ahead sign as well as the Maryland "LANE ENDS" sign that is now making its debut in both Delaware and Virginia. It's new stuff like Clearview and mixed-case street blade signs that I can't stand...

From the "Used traffic light guy". :Phil:
Well what do you know. If I put my name here, I do not have to sign it everytime.
