As some of you know, I have an extensive collection of traffic signal, sign and infrastructure type adverts, catalogs and related materials. I've amassed this collection over many years and at a not inconsiderable monetary cost. While I've already scanned in thousands of pages, I've really only scratched the surface. And after scanning, all require at least some post-processing, most require quite a bit and some require extensive digital restoration.I mention all this not to illustrate what a signal geek I am, but to emphasize that I have a considerable investment of time and money in these images. I'm willing to share them with you all here, but please respect the signaltraffic.com watermark. I ask that you don't modify these images in any way and only redistribute these amongst your friends.
I've kept the image sizes fairly large so that you can see as much (if not more) detail than the actual printed original but am limited somewhat by max resolution sizes in Photobucket.
If there's sufficient interest in getting a physical print of a specific advert, I'll look into printing it up (at the original resolution and sans watermark) and mailing it out (for a modest fee).
Unfortunately right now I am unable to respond to custom requests looking for specific information on a specific manufacturer and/or model.
My goal is to ultimately have everything I've scanned up and available online for the betterment of our collective understanding of signal history. Imagine an online searchable database of these types of scans. That's where we're headed.
