Hi Folks,

Here are a couple of better photos of our "new" porcelain light shades installed. Took these this morning.

This shade had green spray paint on the outside of it and we cleaned it off.

Came out real nice without any blemishes. Will reassemble the socket and other mounting hardware then we have to find a home for it somewhere around the house.

Cheers!

Hi Dee,

We have three dogs. This is Budha the most protective one in the yard...

While we are in NC, we are looking around to see what we can take home for our yard décor. Going to pick up an old RR "Stop on Red Signal" sign this weekend to go with Sondra's RR setup and the same guy has a couple of porcelain lamps for cheap I want to look at.

Cheers!

Hiya Folks,

We picked up a nice porcelain light today with a couple of other items in a nearby town to my parent's home. This one is 16 inches in diameter. Please excuse the lighting in my Dad's garage in the photos.

This lamp looks like it had been enamel spray painted over the porcelain paint. Looking at and feeling the surface of the shade, I believe 95% of the porcelain paint is intact with a few chips on the edge. We acquired one recently that had been spray painted and after removing the paint was in very good condition. Now we have two white ones to hang probably out on the front porch.

Cheers!
