GTE Controller question

Postby SirMarbelot on Fri Nov 07, 2008 8:44 pm

Hey guys n gals, I'm finally setting up my sign and signal area in the new house...got a great space for it in the garage. The black Marbelite 4-way looks gorgeous after an easy touch-up. The set up is looking neat and clean, much better than the Rube Goldberg wirefest I had going in the basement in Parsippany...granted I have fewer signals nowadays.

Anyway, I turned on my New Orleans GTE controller and everything worked GREAT! I switched it into flash mode...GREAT. Switch back into normal mode, and...the timer dial stops dead. Whattaya think, did the Synchron motor simply die (seems most likely), or could there be an interruption of power just to the motor?

Sorry, no pics yet...I can't find the USB chord to upload from my camera.

Thanks gang...
Francis

Assuming my timer is dead, does anyone have any spare GTE timers? I'll have to check with Big Phil...

Francis, if it's just your Synchron motor that's dead, I may have a replacement. LMK.
