The closest soon to be signalized intersection to me is in Redmond, WA. If I remember correctly, it's NE 76th ST and 170th Ave NE.

The state is planning on redoing some signals along Baltimore Pike and Springfield Roadthrough Clifton Heights, Lansdowne and Upper Darby. As part of that project I believe a new signal will be installed here:

The upcoming intersection includes:

Model VB2 Vibrawalk2 Vibrating Tactile Walk buttons by Novax, either ds100 or ds3000 Audible sound boxes by Novax, Polycarbonite 12-12-12 signals and Fortran poly ped signals with cirlular indicators. The only thing that's wierd is that they didn't have to add them onto wires. But then again i've got alot of trees near my house. Hopefully they replanted. :P

No new future intersections yet.Just several upgrades, like changing majority of the red left turn red balls to red arrows. One of the cities around the Columbus area are going to upgrade from a NEMA TS2 to a 2070 controller system.I am not sure what software they will be using.I hope they are not using NAZTEC hardware in the near future.NAZTEC products only last a few years or less.

Here in St. Peters, MO, they're going to be stripping out all Siemens gear and switching over to Econolite NTCIP.

Syracuse, NY is replacing a hodgepodge bunch of signals with new 12-inch Peek signals mounted on tubular masts. Check it out here. Signals were replaced on University Avenue when the street converted from a one-way road to two-way.

Some jurisdictions still have any appreciable amount of NOS CH equipment around? CH hasn't made a signal in 30 years...

CH is Chapel Hill. Theyre still around. They have a big bold CH on the back and a design like the TCT / Peeks

Yeah, there's this school down the street from me, relatively new, about 7 years ago it was built, and NOW, all of a sudden, they want to put up a new signal there at the entrance! It's a 30 mph small two lane street, and the new installation waiting to be lit up and activated has huge mast arms and big black poly TCT heads, or what the latest brand is now of that model. It's overkill again!!! All of the other existing signals on that two mile long street are all 8 inch except at the other end where it's a T intersection, that has 12 inch signals, but at least it's on a span wire set up there.

I forgot about Chapel Hill. :Phil: That name always struck me as a fairly obvious attempt to make people think they were still buying "CH" signals without realizing what "CH" stood for.
