Is there a manual available for the Bi-Tran Systems (McCain) 233 program used in the 170 controllers? The display seems quite different from the W4IKS that's on my other 170 controller. I can find a lot of references to it on the web but no manual.

It is indeed different.BiTrans 2**series is based on the standard Q-5 program, which was developed in conjunction with the FHWA back in the early 1970's.The Q-5 was a basic programming templete that consists of basic interval codes for timing,pre-emptions(Fire & Railroad),coordination, and many others.BiTrans software enhances the Q-5 features and is capable of interconnecting with their own central control/master computer,Quicknet. It also has an internal time base coordination program(time of day)and other local commands(recalls,flash,free,etc.).I do have a spare programming spreed sheet laying around somewhere. If you are interested, please send me a PM.I have the 200SA program. However, the year calandar ranges from 1900 to 2000.That will not do any good for me.

Tried to post the manual for you, but its too large. I can probably post a link to it at some point if you still need it.

You can upload it to the new SignalTraffic archive, located here: http://signal-archive.d-domains.net/

To upload, follow the instructions below:

notMUTCDcompliant wrote:For those who have things to upload....
Once your in the archive, select the drop down in the upper left of the screen that says "Archive", and change it to upload. Your screen on the right will go blank. Drag and drop any files you would like to share into the large white blank window.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR UPLOADS UNTIL SORTED AND APPROVED BY AN ADMIN! So don't worry if you can't see what you just did! Thanks!

Speaking of archive, on a semi-related note, I just uploaded the LightManager software userguide to the Archive for those who want to check that out, when I dragged it over it asked me to save it. Not sure if this means it worked or not....
