Not sure if this has been posted before, quiet 6 minute video around the Bunker Hill area of Los Angeles in the 40's. Lots of cool cars, signage and, of course, ACME's (at 3:40, 4:11, 4:51 and 5:42).

Thanks Troy, that's pretty neat. I think I liked LA better the way that it was then compared to now.

Great find! If you can't go back in time at least re-live it in a nice video of the past. Did a couple of screen grabs with those ACMEs - I like to do 5x7s of old pics and frame them on my wall.

The ACME signal on the right at 4:51 is actually cycling as the car passes by.

I'm not sure if I might've asked this question here on the forums, but did those traffic signals from Acme have their own signal controllers built into them? :scratch:
