What do you mean by "Horni hardware", is that just a style of bracket? This bracket is a Marbelite.

Horni was a signal manufacturer in the early days.

I guess I'm missing something here, :rob: does the Marbelite hardware resemble Horni hardware?

Yes, when Marbelite took over Horni in the 40s they used Horni's latest designs for their main products. That bracket shape goes back to Horni days - and may have "HS" in the cast ID.

Thanks for clearing that up for me! I wonder how they got paired up with the LFE signals that I purchased, the brackets would be much older than the signals?? The cast ID says: T.C.2123H.S.

I guess the Marb bracket is older than its Flemington counterpart. How it compares to the signals I'm not sure. Those signals have backplate "nibs" on the side so I'd guess they as from approx 1970 or later. Marb may have removed "HS" from their casting numbers by that time, so maybe it is a little older. Bottom line, I'm not sure. :)

These signals look nice in any mans collection.
I wouldn't think getting visors for these would be too difficult.

Thanks,

The screw holes measure 6 1/4" center to center between them. My eagle visors fit them, so one would think that they are pretty common.

That looks great! It is an excellent color choice. Those have a rugged look, and they remind me of the 1970s and early 1980s.

Do you still have the lenses which were in the light? Those are kind of unusual. They were the only poly "sawtooth" style I have ever seen and were made specifically for LFE Automatic. You will see it on the rim of the lens, and the greens were a pretty cool emerald color.

The poly lenses are shown in the first photo, they are a bit scuffed up though. Someone had slung red paint on the signals, including the lenses. It peeled off of the lenses pretty easy, but left a residue that won't come off. The amber and red ones look pretty good, but the green's won't clean up. If anyone knows a good way to clean/shine up poly lenses, please post it and I'll give it a try. The green's are an unusual color, if I can get them cleaned up, they will be put back where they belong.
