Not exactly a signal and not exactly a sign but I find it interesting.

Is it yours??

Or something on the interforums???
Well what do you know. If I put my name here, I do not have to sign it everytime.

All mine. I primarily got it to lend some authenticity to the Mata Hari - German policeman role playing game the wife and I play...

It doesn't really fit in with anything else in my already eclectic collection, but I think it's cool.

Ed,

I think every traffic cop in Germany is issued one of those. And yes, I've had one waved at me a couple of times when I was there. It was usually the result of a minor velocity indiscretion on my part.
I'm so old I remember when the word "mother" only had one meaning!!!

Wow, German highway patrol is hardcore. In the country known for having one of the fastest motorways (the Autobahn), they give their troopers a flashlight to flag down speeding cars?

Then again, I was pulled over once on a Massachusetts highway while doing triple digits by a trooper who just walked out into the middle of the highway, pointed at me and then the side of the road. It was either pull over and stop or hit him... :fright:
