Hello!

Hi There!

My name is Chris and I'm from the Chicago area. I've had an interest in traffic lights ever since I was a kid and stuck my ear against and old signal controller box and wondered what was going on inside there.

I also have an interest in anything that can be tinkered with whether it's a car, engine, computer, old telephones, etc. I also like traveling, photography, and history.

I have a couple of old Crouse Hinds DT 4 way signals, a beat up model D 4 way, a single model M, a PCN 100 controller, a SVA 110 (with vacuum tubes), and a GS-4 controller.

I'm looking forward to learning more about the operation of the controllers.

Welcome Chris. Sounds like you have a neat collection already. Open and post a link to a photbucket or equivalent website as we would like to see some of your stuff. There is a lot of knowledge to most eras -makes and models of traffic related items, so good luck!

Well what do you know. If I put my name here, I do not have to sign it everytime.

Welcome to my world. I grew up in the city of New York, and the sounds of the good ol' clunkers (as I like to call them) always captured my attention. I'm fortunate enough to own two in my collection, so I enjoy them every minute.

Anyway, welcome to the forums, Chris. It's nice to meet you. Sounds like you have some interesting things. Do you have pictures of what you own?
