Was Mr. Rogers also a traffic signal tech? I mean, how else did he know that the green wire came next?!

Thanks for the vids Joe. Though now I wish there was video (or at least pics) of older sigs being constructed. I'd love to see the assembly line of an AGA light house beacon or a GE Novalux pedestal signal.

Made in other factories...probably the Kennedy foundry. I wonder if thats Eagle's factory prior to the current Austin, TX facility.

I used to watch Mr. Rogers Neighborhood all the time when I was younger, and somehow I never remember seeing the episode with the traffic signal factory. Thanks for posting.

It could be. The credits do mention a Special Thanks to "Eagle TCS/Siemans Energy".

If Siemens is involved then it is their Austin Texas plant. And this video had to have been made in 1997 or later.

Anyone notice that the door gaskets kind of "appear" between the housings being assembled and the lenses going in........

Edit...watching the end of the video helps. Its from 1999 so that makes sense.

Before you mentioned it, no. However, I did notice that the gaskets appeared to have been poorly installed, given the overlapping segment that is sticking out of the channel where it is spliced. :Phil:
