A couple of days ago, I came across this interesting photograph. It shows the interior of a cabinet from the city of New York. The signal controller that was inside of this cabinet was manufactured by General Electric, and the entire set-up was once located at the corner of W. 125th Street and Broadway in uptown Manhattan.

I was always curious as to what was inside of these small cabinets.
