1937 Mlps signal

We have a couple of pictures of this signal from Mlps historical society. 1937 at an intersection in downtown Mlps and another from 1940 showing a push button on the corner for walkers to change the sign for crossing the street. I hoped the plug on the bottom would be a clue to a controller.I'll keep tying to make it work. Larry

The City of Milwaukee used a very similar signal in the 20's-30's.

It reminds me a lot of the Peterson "automatic" signal that was wound up mechanically and then would cycle.
