REVIEW "Route 66 Lives On The Road"

Postby Buttoncopy on Wed Mar 25, 2009 12:52 pm

Route 66 Lives On The Road is a must have for anyone that is interested in Americana, Route 66, old signage, or petrolana. Through six chapters Jon Robinson weaves a web accross the US South West that covers not only places but also how route 66 intertwines with peoples lives. Through historic anecdotal documentation this entertaining journey touches on the lives of restauranturs, gas and services station operators as well as car salesmen and motel operators. Thorough out the book hundreds of full color photos show then and now moments, collectibles the people as well as signage that can be found allong the road. As far as Route 66 books go this is one of the best. :good:
