I finally got off my butt and came over here.

This is the new member sandbox. Until you post a little something about yourself here, you don't get to play on the rest of the board. So tell us a little something about yourself and your signals.

I finally got off my butt and came over here.

Hello

My name is Mark, better known as NPTD 39. I live in Ohio, in the same city as Crunge98. I work for the traffic dept. and take care of the city's closed loop system + six Crouse Hinds oldies. A pair of D's, DT 4-way, DT Beacon and (my personal favorite) a pair of Crouse Hinds portholes. Some of the members will know me from the Ohio signal meets, but I hope to get to know more of you in the future. I urge anyone who is a fan of portholes, to come to the 2009 Ohio signal meet because this will probably be their last year in service.

Mark, welcome to the board! I hope you make yourself at home here and please don't hesitate to ask for any help should you require it.

I was hoping to see you next year in person at the Jaypalooza event but if I'm reading between the lines correctly (and I think I am) and you're giving away a CH porthole to some lucky signalfan from outside of Ohio, then I'll most definitely be there!! ;)

Mark
welcome aboard I look forward to seeing some of those pictures from the Ohio meet. You mentioned you are in the "biz" what closed loop systems do you maintain? Do you have a collection of signals or is it that maintaining stuff in the field is enough entertainment? Good to have you and look forward to conversing about the traffic field!

I get quite a few coming by my shop wanting stuff too! :-D Think they are trying to get my stuff! ;)
Econolite Aries? very nice system quite a bit different than the Siemens SE-Pac software the majority of jurisdiction use down here. Very few use or can afford Econolite

I assume you have that setup as a special TOD output with the AM plan!
