Those are still a mystery. There not found in any catalog. The cluster I have like yours came with D's just like yours with no ID tag. The span wire cluster like that in town has D's on them with no ID tags

Catalog shows early M's using the D/DT style slipfitter, some point during the M era they came out with the new style that was was used till the R run ended.
