Did we all miss this one? I assume this would be a first generation modular GE, before the Groove-back. Looks almost NOS!

I saw that one, it wasn't listed very long before the seller ended the listing. I contacted them and they stated that it was knocked over, and one or two of the lenses were broken. :cry:

It isn't pretty like a Crouse D, but I like it a bit more than its Grooveback cousin...though its rarity may be influencing my judgement here.

Cool sig but not at $500 (for me at least). That bell on the bottom section kind of kills it for me.

Yeah, it broke and he can't sell it anymore. He didn't sell it in a backdoor deal or anything... :rant:

Yeah, it broke and he can't sell it anymore. He didn't sell it in a backdoor deal or anything...

It hasn't been relisted, I would imagine someone made them an offer and he ended the listing. The broken lens thing could just be an excuse for ending it early. While it's a cool unusual light, the opening bid was over my budget, (for this light) someone is probably the proud new owner.

This is the sad part of backdooring signals. We will never get to see more pictures of it original and restored, find out what the bell is for. It will go into some cowards vault to be privately licked...
