There it is Easy -- the perfect color I was thinking of, that is -- on these 3M's in Ottawa that Signalkid Ian just posted in another thread...! THANKS IAN! (and sorry for swiping your pic, and all that...)

Picking a different color besides the normal factory color for your traffic light is more difficult than one would think. It's simple to look but committing to a color is rough, the colors are endless.

Since the Darley has a crude casting I decided to to use a dull finish as not to change the " crude " look. I also decided to use dull brass to fit in with the dull finish. The color is " dull aluminum ". I kinda like the way it came out. :2Cool:

Those are McCains. 3M's only have square, ped, cutaway visors.
