Tri-Stud Hanger

Postby coyttl on Wed Sep 11, 2013 1:51 pm

Quick questions.

Are all tri-studs the same?

I.e. Pelco's Tri-Stud Hanger, would it be the same tri-stud pattern (bolt size, bolt center pattern, etc) as GTE's?

Ohh ok! I haven't run into many of those...

I would think the pattern is pretty standard, since it's the same pattern used for the section connector plates these days, and those never seem to vary much.

I was meaning a different version of a tri stud, not different manufacturers, I have seen different manufacturer tri studs

If the one on the McCain PV is a tri-stud, then the GTE one is not standard.

This is the plate on a McCain PV:

However, the holes are too far from center for a tri-stud GTE hanger I have.

Hence, my original question.

The Tri-stud signal section rings are the standard hardware.

Pelco Astro Brackets, The section ring has oblong holes.... :glare:
