I tried this method before I learned about using heat. It cost me a DT reflector.

I believe I may have a "last generation" version of this signal. The reflectors have the metal rings, the wires are plastic coated, the Kopp 27 lenses are the later kind, and no manufacturer name is stamped or embossed anywhere. I guess it's from the mid-late 40s.
