I'd be curious to see some kind of album or wiki that had pictures of backs of signals, for identification purposes.
I was thinking of something uniform - i.e. All pictures taken from a few feet back, so that they could be easily compared. This is mainly for recognition for people viewing signals 'in the wild' - where you may not be able to get close enough to read the logo on the back, just the shape. (For example why - I recently saw an image taken for a newpaper that had signals in the background. Some were McCains - I recognized them. Some however, I didn't recognize, as they were more rounded uniformly.)
Was thinking that the gallery would be more focused on shape than logo or color design - therefore, for example, there would be one picture of a NAI signal, and would be listed as DeMco, now North American Industries.. etc.
Just a thought..
